About Taurus Publishing
TAURUS PUBLISHING was formed in 1994, primarily to publish and market the MAXIM GUNN
series of action - adventure - espionage novels written by Nicholas Boving.
As most unpublished authors have discovered, it is extremely difficult to get noticed in a world filled with would
be writers clamoring for the attention of publishers and agents. Most publishers do not have the time or staff
to read unsolicited manuscripts and rely on literary agents to supply them with quality pre-screened works.
The search for an agent is equally difficult and for these reasons it was felt it would be more rewarding to publish
the series ourselves. In June 1996 we printed and began to distribute the first of the series: MAXIM GUNN - THE
CHAOS PROJECT. Since then, the first two books in the series have been picked up by the major Canadian book retailers
and are enjoying a measure of success.
Many new titles in the MAXIM GUNN series are in the planning stage - many already completed.

All six titltes in the Maxim Gunn Series are now available as E-books from MobiPocket.com
Taurus Publishing also holds the rights to other works by Nicholas Boving. These include
four novels. These manuscripts can be categorized as mainstream - literary, contemporary - adventure, eco-thriller
genres. These novels represent a more serious and literary vein of Boving's writing. Taurus is actively seeking
a publisher for these works.
